Heart-wrenching CCTV footage shows a man stealing a 7-month-old child from a homeless mother while they are just asleep, early in the morning around 4:30 a.m on August 24 from Mathura junction railway station.
This video has been posted by the Twitter user Sachin Kaushik (Cop) who urge to retweet and share the photos/videos in Groups and said “especially in Kasganj, Badaun and Bareilly side” to get more information about the man. “I’m sure it will be caught” he added.
Some of the reasons why a stranger might kidnap an unknown child include extortion to elicit a ransom from the parents for the child’s return. illegal adoption, a stranger steals a child with the intent to rear the child as their own or to sell it to a prospective adoptive parent.
As per the latest figures of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), 59,262 children went missing in India as per 2020 reports. With 48,972 children remaining untraced from the previous years, the total number of missing children has gone up to 1,08,234.
