Actor-Producer Vijay Babu Gets An Anticipatory Bail In The Sexual Assault Case

Kerala High Court on Wednesday grants anticipatory bail to Malayalam actor-producer Vijay Babu in the sexual assault case registered against him. He was arrested on May 31 and since then it was being extended from time to time.

The court declared a bond of ₹ 5 lakh on actor Babu, if he has been arrested by the police, he shall be released on bail along with two sureties of the same amount.

The actor gets anticipatory bail with conditions till June 26 in a rape case based on the complaint by the debutant actress. The Kerala High Court has asked him to appear for interrogation on June 27.

Back in 2018 Vijay Babu’s wife had lodged a complaint of assault and abuse against him and this year the actress.
