There are reports of a massive bomb blast at Gurdwara Road in Kabul’s Karte Parwan on Thursday.
“We heard a huge blast in Karte Parwan locality, Police District 2, at roughly 4:15 pm. local time. The whole place has now been sealed off, as the blast also caused panic among the people at evening rush hr,” witness Farukh Shah said, reported Xinhua news agency reported.
A video shared by Akali Dal spokesperson Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Twitter shows ambulances rushing to the scene. In his tweet, Sirsa also wrote he has been informed by the Sangat in Kabul that they are safe. However, he emphasised that the situation in Afghanistan was “becoming uglier by the day.”
