Every Saturday and Sunday, Indian Idol 13 is a musical programme that airs on Sony TV. The 1990 film Aashiqui's main cast was welcomed over the last weekend. Anu Aggarwal expressed her dissatisfaction amid revelations that her shots were removed from a special episode of Indian Idol 13. The programme was devoted to the blockbuster musical movie Aashiqui (1990). Anu, Rahul Roy, Deepak Tijori, and singer Kumar Sanu were among the Aashiqui star cast members who made an appearance on the programme.

According to Anu, the production crew deleted instances in which she interacted with participants. In addition to sitting close to Rahul and Deepak, she claimed to be highly active on the show. She was still "carved out of the frame" by the artisan. She stated, "Thankfully, I am a Sanyasi," in a chat with India.com. My ego is completely nonexistent. Yes, it makes me sad. Despite having spoken sufficiently, not a single word was broadcast. My Hindi is excellent. The reason why doesn't interest me. I gave up. Right now, I'm trying very hard not to put myself on the defensive and I don't want to start blaming Sony, the editor, or anyone else at all.

I don't want to enter the defensive posture, she continued. I also don't want to start by criticising the channel, the editor, or anyone else. Since my speech was so inspirational, I'm sorry it couldn't be heard. I just care about the things I spoke, not about myself. We are all heroes, and others inspire us.
