Five ballistic missiles launched by China’s military have fallen into Japan’s exclusive economic zone, the Japanese government said Thursday, condemning the move.

Nobuo Kishi, a Japanese Defence Minister announced the statement on nine of five ballistic missiles launched by China has been landed on Japan’s EEZ southwest of Hateruma Island. One to the north-northwest of Yonaguni Island, two to the southwest of Taiwan, and one to the northwest of Taiwan.
“We strongly condemn this as a serious matter that concerns the security of our country and the safety of our people, and we protest against this extremely coercive action.” He added in his statement.
