The classic TV show starred actor Mukesh Khanna as the titular superhero and his alter persona, Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastriji, a nerdy photographer at a newspaper, the show which aired on DD National from 1997 to the mid-2000s was a super duper hit.
Every kid in the 1990s was obsessed with this popular show. Everyone, not just the kids, but even the parents, used to look forward to the serial’s broadcast. When the show’s moto says, “as darkness descends upon humanity, it is time for him to return,” therefore now is the time for Shaktiman to return and dispel the gloom.
