Organizing a mass cycle rally with participation from all facets of our society with a goal of travelling 115 km from Simlaguri Chowk on Barpeta Road to Daodhara Check Post on the Indo-Bhutan Border and passing through the borders of the three districts of Barpeta, Bajali, and Baksa, 27 Battalion once again took up the cause, prioritising government directives and with the goal of promoting fitness among the general populace.
The purpose of the event was to spread enthusiasm among the general public about India’s 75th anniversary of independence. It was met with a resounding reaction from people of all castes, religions, ages, and genders.
At Simlaguri, Bhawanipur, Sarupeta, Salbari, and Simla, 1200 flags were distributed to the general public in an effort to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign.
Women in particular were incredibly eager to take the flag.

One of the 1000 km targets for the state of Assam that Frontier Hqrs SSB, Guwahati, was tasked with meeting was the 115 km target for 27 Bn.
Speaking to the media, Abhishek Anand, Commandant of the 27 Bn, said that as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign, a variety of public-related programmes had been organised. The public had responded enthusiastically to these initiatives, and 75 units of blood had been donated for the noble cause of humanity at the demand and request of the state-of-the-art blood bank at the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital in Guwahati.
The public’s involvement has turned this celebration into a movement that makes this nation think of the 1942 Quit India Movement.
Furthermore, he said that during that time, the unit had planted 6500 of the 12000 trees that were supposed to be planted.
