Meghalaya: WGH Police busted interstate gang of bike lifters; at least 10 arrested
Meghalaya Police arrested at least 10 members of an inter-state gang of vehicle lifters in the West Garo Hills district and recovered 12 motorbikes and 11 mobile phones stolen from different places.
Over the arrest of vehicle lifters, Meghalaya Chief Minister Sri Conrad Sangma applauded West Garo Hills Police for another major success.
Earlier the police from West Gato Hills nabbed two vehicle lifters and recovered 2 bikes. In the last 10 days, the police recovered 66 bikes and made 26 arrests over this case and multiple cases have been solved, according to DGP Meghalaya.
