Beautiful pictures fairytale’s wedding: Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar finally shared.
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor-host Shibani Dandekar are the most talked about celebrity couple these days. The duo who tied the knot in a huge-hush wedding on 19th Feb has finally shared the official pictures from their wedding ceremony in their respective social media accounts today. Celebrities like Anusha Dandekar, Rhea Chakraborty, Hritik Roshan were a part of their big day.
Earlier today the couple shared photos from their wedding ceremony on social media. The couple exchanged vows on February 19 in the presence of close family and friends at a farmhouse in Khandala, a hill station close to Mumbai, after more than four years of dating.
Taking to Instagram the 48-year-old filmmaker-actor expressed his gratitude to well-wishers as they sought blessings for starting a “new journey” in their lives.
Meanwhile, Shibani has changed her display name on her Instagram account, which now reads Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar. Her bio reads ‘Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer, and Mrs. Akhtar’.
The “Four More Shots Please!” actor also posted photographs from the ceremony and looked stunning in an off-shoulder red gown, which she teamed with a veil of the same color.

At the Khandala ceremony, Farhan was dressed in a black Indo-western attire and Shibani in a red gown with a matching veil. After the wedding, singer Shankar Mahadevan sang Dil Chahta Hai’s title song as everyone swayed to the music. Hrithik Roshan and Farhan also danced to their song Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. As per a report, Farhan’s father lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar recited a poem for the couple at the ceremony.
As per reports, the couple will also host a grand reception for their extended friends later this month.
