China has reported 24,791 new coronavirus cases, with 3,896 of those being symptomatic. On Saturday, Shanghai recorded a new high for COVID-19 cases. This isn’t a limited occurrence; it’s happening all over China. Local restrictions have been implemented to limit the amount of COVID-19 virus that can spread across the country.
The Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone, a central Chinese manufacturing area that includes Apple Inc supplier Foxconn, announced a 14-day lockdown on Friday. This will be adjusted according to the epidemic situation, which means they will bring it in if the epidemic gets worse, and keep it out if it doesn’t.
Stay indoors, Xian warns following rising levels of COVID-19. The city recommended that people avoid unnecessary trips outdoors and encouraged companies to allow their employees to work from home or live at the workplace.
The government in Xian said that they will not impose a food shortage lockdown on the city.
Shanghai, at the center of China’s recent outbreak, on Saturday reported a record 3,590 symptomatic cases as well as 19,923 asymptomatic cases. The asymptomatic case number was up slightly from 19,872. Most of the city’s residents are still under lockdown, but the COVID case tally continues to grow.
While all stockpiles are being regulated, China forms a new administration in an attempt to boost economic growth. There is an electric vehicle manufacturing deficit in China, and some businesses may have to halt production if they can’t find new suppliers that are closing down. As a result of the adjustments, more vendors will be suspended.
Suzhou, a city near Shanghai, has mandated that all employees who are capable of working from home do so. Unnecessary entry of people and vehicles into residential compounds and company campuses should be avoided.
