Covid-19 update: “Precautionary dose is necessary as virus immunity is eroding” says Dr, VK Paul
Dr. VK Paul, chair of the National Task Force on Covid-19, stated that a precautionary dose is necessary as the virus’ immunity is eroding after India passed the 200 billion vaccine milestone on Sunday.
“We must have the best protection possible for six months after the second treatment. Paul added, “The number of instances is rising in a number of countries, thus the precaution dose must be pushed in mission mode.
“The pandemic is in a low phase, and people are mentally worn out. We must guarantee that we are completely safeguarded, he stated.
The administration is “aware of the fact that vaccine availability is not an issue,” according to Paul. “Now, the goal is to increase the use of preventative measures,” he added.
