Depression likely to form on Dec 2, to develop into cyclone, reach AP-Odisha coast on Dec 4
Cyclone ‘JAWAD’ is likely to form by tomorrow and reach the Indian coast of Odhisa and Andhra by Saturday.
Coastal areas in India have been subjected to severe weather on a regular basis. Severe to heavy rainfall and floods recently wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat. However, it appears that the natural disaster is far from ended.
The India Meteorological Department has issued a pre-cyclone warning for the coasts of North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, stating that depression is predicted to form on Thursday and build into a cyclonic storm on December 3. It will continue to move northwest, reaching the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on December 4 morning.
