Zara Phythian and her husband Victor Marke have been accused of several sex offenses, including the rape of a 13-year-old girl after grooming her. The “Doctor Strange” actress and her husband have been charged with 14 counts of sexual behavior with the minor, who is now an adult.
Back then she was between 13 and 15 when she was abused by the couple in 2005 and 2008. She said the first offenses happened after the couple gave her alcohol and Mrs. Phythian dared her to give Mr. Market sexual pleasure and sexually abused her under the fluence of alcohol. Mr. Market then threatened to smash her kneecaps if she told anyone.
The couple was both martial arts instructors in Nottinghamshire at the time, and the woman told police she had looked up to Ms. Phythian because of the success of her martial art.
Mr. Marke is also charged with four further counts, including indecently abusing a child regarding another woman who was molested between 2002 and 2003 when she was 15 years old.
