Former Meghalaya Home Minister RG Lyndoh Passes Away
Robert G Lyngdoh, former Home Minister of Meghalaya, passed away today at his residence here in Shillong.
He had been ill for a while and is said to have died at his residence. He was a community leader recognised for his strong opinions about the state and its citizens.
Former Meghalaya Home Minister Robert G Lyngdoh had been hospitalised to a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after his health deteriorated a few days ago.
Ampareen Lyngdoh, his sister and a senior political leader as well as a former minister in Meghalaya, confirmed the news in a tweet .
“My brother, Robert G. Lyngdoh, was brought to the intensive care unit and is receiving treatment.” Please keep him in your prayers,” she wrote on Twitter.
