Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, tweeted this morning to express moral and emotional support for the people of Ukraine, urging them to ‘stay strong.’ Musk also commended Russia’s outstanding and brave people for their opposition to the war.
Many Russians who spoke out against President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine have suffered serious repercussions. Many people were arrested, including a 90-year-old woman, when she protested the war. Musk praised the group’s efforts to speak out against their own president.
Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of SpaceX, previously delivered his company’s Starlink satellite broadband service to Ukraine, and the company is currently supplying more terminals to the country, whose internet was devastated by Russia’s invasion.
“Starlink service is now live in Ukraine,” Musk commented last Saturday through Twitter. “More terminals are on the way.” he added.
