Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, praised Indian talent in the United States on Monday, following the appointment of Parag Agrawal as Twitter’s CEO.
“Indian talent benefits the US significantly!” In a tweet, Mr. Musk stated. The entrepreneur was responding to a tweet on how Indian-origin people are now leading some of the world’s most prestigious tech firms, including Microsoft, Google, and IBM.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey left his position from the firm on Monday. Mr. Dorsey led Twitter through the turbulence of Donald Trump’s administration, overcoming an activist investor’s attempt to depose him in 2020. He joined Twitter in 2011 and rose through the ranks to become the company’s Chief Technical Officer in 2017. Mr. Dorsey added in his message to the employees that Parag Agrawal was at the helm of every major decision and was instrumental in turning the firm around.
