International player shot dead in a live match in Jalandhar Punjab

Sandeep Singh, an international kabbadi player from Nangal Ambiyan village, was shot and killed by assailants during a competition in Jalandhar district’s Malian village on Monday. He was shot in the head and chest with at least 20 shots. The gruesome footage of the incident has gone viral.

According to the information, the attackers shot and killed Sandeep, who was then rushed to the hospital in a critical state, but died on the way.

Sandeep was a former captain of the Indian kabaddi team from the Nangal Ambian village in Shahkot. He leaves behind his wife and two sons who are currently living in England, where he was settled.

The police arrived on the scene shortly after the incident and immediately began an investigation. To guarantee that tensions do not spread in the region, a large police presence has been deployed.

Meanwhile, Sukhbir Singh Badal, the head of the Shiromani Akali Dal, condemned the heinous crime and urged immediate action.
