Kanpur: 10 year old boy sodomised and dumped in river Ganga after father couldn’t pay ransom

According to a senior police official in Kanpur, four men allegedly sexually molested a 10-year-old child and dumped him in the river after the boy’s father informed them that he lacked the 6 lakh needed to pay the ransom for his son’s release.

Anand Prakash Tiwari, joint commissioner of police, claimed that the four persons who kidnapped the boy and threw him in the Ganga had been detained. The names of the four were Ballu, Amit, Saghir, and Ameen.

According to the police, divers are still searching for any signs of the youngster in the river.
“The boy might have had a sexual assault before being tossed into the river. According to Tiwari, who cited the accused’s confessional remark, police are looking into the matter.

The boy was abducted on Monday when he left to play on Monday evening and did not come back.
The ransom call came to his father, who is a driver, at midnight. They asked for 6 lakh.

In addition to obtaining CCTV footage that showed the boy being whisked away on a two-wheeler by Amit outside a grocery store, police were able to identify four suspects through the phone number used by the kidnappers. The four were locals who lived close to their victim.

The four allegedly admitted to the authorities that they sodomised the youngster and then dumped him into the river an hour later after his father said he couldn’t afford to pay the ransom.
