I Love You Talang, along with five other inmates, overpowered a security guard to break out of the Jowai District Jail. Ramesh Dkhar, Marsanki Tariang, Rikmenlang Lamare, Shidorki Dkhar, and Loadestar Tang were among the other defendants that escaped. I love you Talang and Ramesh Dkhar were detained on suspicion of killing a tourist vehicle’s driver.
According to a police official, three of Talang’s accomplices, Ramesh Dkhar, Tellme Pyrtuh alias Bor, and Sampher Ksoo, were also detained on suspicion of kidnapping and murdering cab drivers in the West Jaintia Hills.
Talang is said to have admitted during the initial questioning that he and his three other accomplices had murdered the cab driver Damehipaia Papeng, who went missing on August 10, by slicing his throat.
