Rhonda Vetere to Represent University of Science and Technology Meghalaya as Global Ambassador
The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has chosen Ms. Rhonda Vetere, one of the top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology, author, and global leader from New York, to work for the University globally in order to accomplish its “Mission Global.” On October 3rd of this year, at the foundation-laying ceremony for the PA Sangma International Medical College and Hospital on the USTM campus, she will join USTM as its Global Ambassador.
According to a USTM Press release, she will be joined by Faisal Masood, Managing Partner, Element One Digital Technology and Operations Leader, and Dr. Abdul Wase, Professor of Medicine, Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, USA.
The USTM Chancellor, Mahbubul Hoque, stated that Ms. Rhonda Vetere, a veteran of the global technology industry, will play a pivotal role in transforming USTM into a global university on a variety of fronts, including academic, research and development, outreach, and humanitarian endeavors for social transformation. Aside from promoting student and faculty exchanges, including placement, she will also coordinate the visits of reputable, well-known individuals, including Nobel Prize winners.
Author, keynote speaker, panelist, and industry specialist in the field of technology, Rhonda Vetere. She previously served as Herbalife Nutrition’s Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and member of the Executive Board.
Vetere previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at Estée Lauder Companies and the First President of Data and Analytics at nThrive. She has also held executive positions at Santander Bank, Pamplona Capital Management, AIG, HP Enterprise Services, Barclays, Bank One / JPMorgan Chase, and a number of telecommunications firms.
