The competition, which will start on October 6, is organised by the Chattisgarh government as part of the 2022–23 Olympics
Under the direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the State Government has made the decision to hold the Chhattisgarhia Olympics in 2022–2023 in order to promote traditional sports activities in both urban and rural areas, give sports talent a platform, raise awareness of sports, and instil a sense of sportsmanship in the populace. The comprehensive action plan was completed by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and released on September 23, 2022. The task of planning the Chhattisgarhia Olympics at six distinct levels has been given to the Panchayat and Rural Development and Urban Administration and Development Department.
