Akasa Air Is All Set To Take Off With Its First Investment By Billionaire And Stocks Trader, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala

Akasa Air backed by billionaire and stocks trader Rakesh Jhunjhunwala headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra is a brand of SNV Aviation Private Limited was supposed to be an ultra-low-cost Indian airline. And on June 21, 2022 Akasa had a very happy moment as the arrival of thier first aircraft, taking up their vision to give India most dependable and most affordable airline. Two weeks ago Akasa was granted the Air Operator Certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Today on 22nd of July , Akasa Air- India’s newest and most affordable airline is all set to fly and has opened ticket sales for 28 weekly flights on the Mumbai- Ahmedabad and Bengaluru- Kochi routes. On August 7 from Mumbai to Ahmedabad and On August 13 from Bengaluru to Kochi respectively. Bookings will be available on the websites, mobile applications as well as through the agents also.

“We kick-start operations with flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, with the brand-new Boeing 737 Max aircraft,” Praveen Iyer, co-founder and chief commercial officer, said. He also added that we are progressively expanding our network and connecting more cities to give India a better and affordable air transport service.
