On Monday, India celebrated 75 years of independence, and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his greetings.
In a message to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Putin expressed his best wishes and said that since India’s independence, India has “achieved widely acknowledged progress” in a number of fields, including social, science, technology, and economics.
In addition, Putin noted that India “by right enjoys great authority on the international scene, playing a positive role in resolving important issues on the international agenda.”
The connection between India and Russia is strengthening in the “spirit of a privileged strategic cooperation,” the Russian president stated, praising India.
