“Sainya Dham” the fifth Dham will have soils from the grave of martyrs; Union Defence Minister

The Union defence minister Rajnath Singh stated during a visit to Shaheed Samman Yatra in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, the minister stated that the names of martyrs and their villages should also be written in the fifth – the ‘Sainya Dham.’

“In Uttarakhand, there are four Dhams, and if the ‘Sainya Dham’ is built, we will have a fifth Dham. This Dham will contain soil from the graves of martyrs… In the (Sainya) Dham, the names of martyrs and their communities should also be written ” ANI quoted the Defence Minister as saying.

The Shaheed Samman Yatra will honour the sacrifices made by Uttarakhand warriors. It will collect dirt from the homes of 1734 martyrs in 70 blocks across 13 districts in the state till December 7.

After that, the soil will be used in the construction of Dehradun’s Shainya Dham.
