On Wednesday, an Indian student from Barnala in Punjab died in Ukraine, where a battle is raging following the Russian military’s invasion.
Handan Jindal (22) attended Vinnytsia National Pyrogov Memorial Medical University in Vinnytsia, Ukraine.
Jindal was admitted to Emergency Hospital Vinnytsia (Kyivska street 68) after suffering an Ischemic stroke, according to available reports. He had taken his final breath earlier in the day.
On Tuesday, Naveen, an Indian student who was killed in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city, which is being shelled by Russian forces. Naveen was a fourth year MBBS student from Karnataka India. According to his father despite Naveen secured 97% in the Pre University yet he was not accommodated in Indian Colleges due to reservation policy and huge donations. He was forced to send his son to Ukraine due to financial constraint.
On Tuesday, a tremendous explosion occurred in central Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, just in front of the city’s administration building, resulting in a massive fireball that looked to engulf numerous cars going through an area known as Freedom Square .
