Seven Teachers From NorthEast India Selected for National Award on ‘Teacher’s Day’

The National Awards to Teachers have chosen seven educators from the Northeastern states (2022). For this honor, a total of 46 instructors from around the nation have been chosen. President Droupadi Murmu will present the prizes to the chosen teachers at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on September 5 in honour of Teacher’s Day.

There are two teachers from Sikkim among the seven chosen educators from Northeast India, as well as one from Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Assam each.

The Education Ministry announced in a statement that the National Awards to Teachers honour those educators who have made significant contributions to raising the standard of education in schools and enhancing the lives of their pupils.
