A day after the request made by Amravati MP Navneet Rana on 25 June, the Central government has provided ‘Y+’ category armed Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) security cover to 15 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs
“I request Amit Shah to provide security to families of MLAs who are leaving Uddhav Thackeray & making their own decisions, staying connected with Balasaheb’s ideology. Uddhav Thackeray’s goondaism should be ended…I request for President’s Rule in the state” said MP Navneet Rana.
The Shiv Sena MLAs who have been under protection were Ramesh Bornare, Mangesh Kudalkar, Sanjay Shirsat, Latabai Sonawane, Prakas Surve, Sadanand Saranavnkar, Yogesh Dada Kadam, Pratap Sarnaik, Yamini Jadhav, Pradeep Jaiswal, Sanjay Rathod, Dadaji Bhuse, Dilip Lande, Balaji Kalyanar, Sandipan Bhumare are CRPF’s security cover.
