The driver of a truck carrying church supplies has been arrested for criminal damage after flattening the gates of the Russian embassy in Dublin.
Videos of the incident show the truck reversing into the gates and forcing them open as a number of protesters looked on. The driver congratulated those celebrating with screams of “Bravo” and “Well done.”
After the truck flattened the gates of the Russian Embassy, Thomas Saunders said he wanted to create a safe way for the Ambassador to return.
