The Indian Women's Hockey team broke down into tears…

The Indian women's hockey team got emotional and broke down into tears when the Prime Minister of India had a telephonic conversation with the team.

Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi made a call to the Indian Women Hockey team after they lost their heroic fight against Great Britain by 3-4 in the Bronze Medal match.

The girls broke down into tears when they heard the Prime Minister encouraging and cheering them for future endeavors despite they lost the game in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 for Bronze medal. The Prime Minister asked the girls to stop crying because they are not losers but winners.

He appreciated the performance of each player in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

He said that the team has been working so hard for the last five to six years and made a strenuous effort to make the country proud. Though they were not able to win, the hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication towards their country and game will inspire thousands of Indian Woman to come forward and play for their country. He appreciated and congratulated every member of the team along with their coach.

He added that the entire nation is proud of the Indian Women Hockey team and asked them not to get disheartened because after decades hockey has revived back into the hearts of every Indian.

The Captain of the team Rani Rampal thanked the Prime Minister for calling, encouraging, and motivating them.

However after the match the coach of the Indian Women Hockey team Sjored Marijne also took to the tweeter and motivated the team, "We did not win a medal, but I think we have won something bigger. We have made Indians proud again and we inspired millions of girls that dreams CAN come true as long as you work hard for it and believe it! Thanks for all the support!"

The performance of the Indian Women Hockey Team along with the Men Hockey team is being appreciated by every Indian citizen. Everyone is encouraging them for their heroic fight against their opponents. They are not losers but will always remain as winners for generations in the heart of every Indian.
