The author of Rajiv Gandhi’s Biography Minaz Merchant’s new book ” Iqbal Singh Chahal Covid Warrior” has been launched by Maharastra CM Uddhav Thackeray in May.
The IAS officer and the Municipal Commissioner & Administrator of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation got his title as “Covid-warrior” because of his remarkable effort in contributions during the pandemic in Mumbai, such as providing thousands of beds through new field hospitals, and private facilities who handed over their Covid-19 wards to the government with 800 vehicles being turned into ambulances.
Today he is known as the hero of the nation and has written a book about him by Minaz Merchant. There has been highly promoting of the book by the actors and politicians so far, the book is based on his extraordinary work done for the people who are in need during the corona pandemics.
