Who is he? CM of Assam responds to Jairam Ramesh’s remark that Himanta is immature
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh responded to Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s claim that Congress should take its Bharat Jodo Yatra to Pakistan because India is united by saying that the CM must make outrageous claims daily to demonstrate his loyalty as he has been a member of the Congress for 20 to 25 years.
Prior to the start of the foot march, Himanta Biswa Sarma responded by leaving the conversation and asserting that he had no idea who Jairam Ramesh was.
“I don’t take Assam’s chief minister seriously since, despite having been a member of Congress for 20–25 years, he must demonstrate his commitment every day.
He recently joined the BJP, thus he must often make ridiculous claims, “Declared Jairam Ramesh.
Jairam Ramesh stated of the Assam chief minister, “I think the Assam CM is childish, immature,” before Rahul Gandhi launched the Congress’ 3,570-km Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kanyakumari today.
Rahul Gandhi and more than 100 Congressmen will start their 15-day foot march tomorrow.
In a biting retort to Jairam Ramesh’s assertion, Himanta said he was unable to recall the man’s identity.
He claimed he didn’t know anyone by that name at the party where he attended.
“First, please introduce me to Jairam Ramesh. Does this person reside in Assam? Who’s he?.
I’m not sure. Who will be able to recall the name of a congressman? When I was in Congress, I never developed a close relationship with any man with that name. The Assam chief minister stated, “I don’t even know who he is.
