World Youth Skills Day Is Aim To Encourages The Development Of Talent Within The Country

World Youth Skills Day is significant as it provides a better opportunity for employment, higher income levels, and lifelong learning to the new generation. This event encourages the elimination of gender inequality and ensures disadvantaged people have access to resources.

In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution declaring 15th July as World Youth Skills Day. The goal is to achieve better socio-economic conditions for today’s youth as a means of addressing the challenges of unemployment and underemployment.

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi with such intensity launched the campaign on 15 July 2015 called “Skill India” to train over 30 crore people in India in different skills by 2022. It is managed by the National Skills Development Corporation of India.

The main objective of the Skill India programme is to provide adequate training in market-relevant skills to over 40 crore youth by 2022. It also aims to create opportunities for the development of talent within the country and improve the overall scope and space for underdeveloped sectors.
