A father of a student at a non-government madrassa in the Sonai Circle neighbourhood of Swadhin Bazar in Assam's Cachar district has filed a police report against the madrassa's administrators, alleging that they indoctrinate their pupils with racism and incite them to hate other religions. On November 11, Maulana Abul Hussain Laskar and Faqrul Islam Majumdar were the targets of a police report submitted by Sain Khan's father Shahab Uddin Khan, a Class VIII student at Swadhin Bazar Islamia Madrassa.
