In several areas across the states, the price of petrol had already surpassed the 100-rupee barrier.
Petrol prices have risen by 92 paise per litre since Thursday, according to a price announcement from state-owned fuel merchants, and now cost Rs 100.07 per litre in Guwahati.
“From where the money would come for free vaccines, surely the rates of gas and diesel will rise,” Teli stated during a district executive meeting in Tinsukia, Assam. The vaccine was not paid for by you. Taxes on gasoline and diesel are used to buy immunizations for everyone, according to Teli.
The declaration made by the BJP leaders was criticized by the opposition.

“While the minister claims that the cost of vaccines is being recovered through increased fuel prices, his government shamelessly takes credit for free vaccine distribution,” stated AIUDF spokesperson Rafiqul Islam.
