Arunachal Pradesh to open northeast's first fish museum

The government of Arunachal Pradesh plans to establish a Fish Museum in an effort to increase tourism in the region and protect the great diversity of aquatic life. Tage Taki, the government of Arunachal Pradesh's minister of fisheries, made the statement. This will be the nation's entire Northeastern Region's first project of its kind to be developed. This announcement was made by the minister on Sunday.

In the state of Arunachal Pradesh, the museum will be a component of the Integrated Aqua Park. The project has already received approval and will fall under the purview of the Union Ministry of Fisheries. For this project, a total of Rs 43.59 Cr has been approved. 

Bulla community already has a fisheries enterprise in place. The Tarin Fish Farm is the official name of this endeavour. situated in the Arunachal Pradeshi district of Lower Subansiri. The grounds of the forthcoming fish museum will be located on this project, which will be developed to an integrated aqua park.

The initiative will include every fish species found in the state, according to a report. The project will serve both as a training facility for anyone interested in starting a fisheries business in the state and as a good visual appeal. According to Tage Taki, the minister for fisheries, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced one IAP for each state and Union territory under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampad Yojana (PMMSY) for introducing blue revolution three years ago."
