After being observed taking her seven-month-old infant to work, a woman police constable in Assam has been praised. Sachita Rani Roy, a lady assigned to the Cachar district’s Silchar PI Court, was observed carrying her infant into her workplace. According to sources, she appears to have no maternity leave left, so she arrives at work with her baby at 10:30 a.m. every morning and leaves once her day’s job is through.
Sachita claimed that she had filed for leave but that it had been denied, leaving her with little choice except to bring her child to work. The 27-year-old explained that there is no one to look after the infant at home. “I don’t have someone at home to look after my kid, so I’m compelled to bring her with me. It’s uncomfortable at times, but I don’t have any other choice “Sachita remarked. Her husband is a jawan with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and is stationed outside of Assam.
Sachita Rani Roy, a resident of Silchar’s Malugram neighborhood, thanked her coworkers and the police department for being kind and accommodating. “I leave a little early since it’s tough for the infant to stay with me all day,” she explained, smiling. Sachita’s commitment to her responsibilities has been praised from all sides.
