According to the Delhi Health Department, two additional Omicron cases have been recorded in Delhi, bringing the total number of cases to 24, and the national total to over 160. The health department notes that 12 of the 24 patients have been discharged and 12 are undergoing treatment.

Omicron is an increasing concern around the world, with the United Kingdom being the hardest hit by the new form. In light of the rising COVID-19 instances in the United Kingdom, Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), stated on Sunday that India should be prepared for any scenario.
“It’s better to be well-prepared than to be caught off guard,” Guleria added.
