Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who was in Mumbai to greet the returning students, tweeted, “Welcome back to the motherland!”
Meanwhile, Piyush Goyal greeted the returnees from Ukraine and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering efforts in bringing them back. He expressed his gratitude to the entire Air India crew. He said the next flight could arrive as early as tomorrow morning.

However, Indian diplomats in Ukraine have advised citizens not to travel to border areas without first consulting the MEA, as Russian attacks are aggressive and the situation is delicate.
