On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested people to raise the tricolour at their residences between August 13 and August 15 in order to reinforce “Har Ghar Tiranga.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a message on the microblogging platform Twitter saying, “This year, while we celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let’s strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. During the 13th through 15th of August, hoist the tricolour or display it inside your homes. We shall feel more connected to the national flag”
On the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, the government intends to begin the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.
The Prime Minister remarked that the tricolour was adopted on July 22, 1947, in a series of tweets, claiming that this movement will strengthen our bond with it.
“Today, we honour the extraordinary bravery and work of everyone who fought for a flag representing a free India at a time when we were resisting colonial control. We affirm our dedication to realising their vision and creating the India of their dreams ” he added.
