India condemns China: for deploying troops on border areas

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesman Shri Arindam Bagchi confirms that the Chinese side allegedly attempted deploying troops on the border areas along the LAC ( line of actual control ) in eastern Ladakh on Thursday. Their provocative behaviour resulted in serious Turmoil of peace and tranquility in the region .

India blamed tensions along the Line of Actual Control on China’s deployment of a significant number of troops and armaments on Thursday, and said it expects China to strive to resolve lingering issues in the Ladakh sector as soon as possible.
The Indian side has already reacted by counter deploying troops in response to China’s outrageous behaviour to maintain the country’s peace and integrity.
As per reports near about 100 soldiers of Chinese PLA ( people’s liberation army) trespassed to the LAC in Barahoti sector in Uttarakhand on 30 August. Chinese troops returned from the area after spending few hours, according to a PTI report.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hua chunying on Wednesday accused India of following a “forward policy” and said this is the root cause of all the tensions.
As highlighted by EAM in a meeting with Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi last month “china FM assured that the Chinese side will work towards resolving the issues including eastern Ladakh “ .
