India Reports 1,150 New Covid-19 Cases, 4 Deaths In 24 Hours; Delhi Plan to Impose Rs500 mask fine
The number of recorded cases of COVID-19 have increased by 192 in the last 24 hours. 1,150 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in a day. That brings the total amount of COVID-19 cases to 4.3 million, and the number of active cases to about 11,000. The death to climbed to 5,21,751 with four fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8 am stated.
Approximately 0.03% of the total population has active cases and 98.76% have had a COVID-19 vaccine and recovered from that, according to the Ministry of Health.
There are over four-point-twenty-five million people who have been successfully treated for the disease, while the mortality rate is recorded at 1.21%. Up to this point, there have been more than 182.5 billion doses that were administered to the population under COVID-19’s nationwide vaccination campaign.
The data from the government’s Delhi Corona application shows that at least 13 of the 59 patients admitted to hospital are children, which is about 22% of all hospitalized patients. Out of 484 COVID-19 cases on February 27 in the city, 18,68,033 have been counted so far. The death toll has reached 26,160 as of April 10th.
