Lili Reinhart Slammed Kim Kardashian; “The ignorance is other-worldly disgusting.”
The day after the Met Gala red carpet, the Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart went on to the social media slamming the reality Tv star Kim Kardashian West even though she does not mention the name, but most probably by her statements she indirectly points a Kardashian, “To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word. The ignorance is other-worldly disgusting.”
On Met Gala red carpet Kim Kardashian was seen bragging about how she had to lose 16 pounds to fit into the iconic Marilyn Monroe outfit she wore to the event. Taking on that opinion according to the actress her being a public figure she must speak carefully because millions of young men and women are looking up to her and listening to her every word and the ignorance is other-worldly “disgusting”.
Lili Reinhart was outspoken about her body image issues and has advocated for a more inclusive outlook when it comes to body shapes in the industry.
She quote,” sigh” I do not say the things that i say because i want to be relevant or get attention. I speak up because i dont see enough people with large platforms calling out toxic behavior in our industry. Some people will never understand where i come from and thats ok for me”.
She clarified that she spoke out about the issue because she feels that there is an ingrained lack of powerful people who call out the toxic behavior of the showbiz industry.
