According to a video provided by news agency ANI on Sunday, a man was arrested in Bihar for attempting to attack Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar was allegedly paying flower tributes to a statue of a local freedom warrior in Bakhtiyarpur block of Patna district when the incident occurred.
The youth has been arrested and is currently being held in custody. While on stage to garland an icon, he attacked Nitish Kumar. The same can be seen in a social media video that went viral.
Following the incident, security personnel took the man into custody and turned him over to the local police. He is currently being questioned at a police station in the area.
