MEGHALAYA: A Man Name I Love You Talang Confesses His Crime Of Murdering A Taxi Driver In Jowai
A murder suspect was arrested after he confessed to a recent murdering of a taxi driver in Jowai on August 24, according to the “The Meghalayan” reports.
The accused identified himself as I Love You Talang a 25-year-old old man, son of Bijoy Tariang and a resident of Moorap Village. He is accused of murdering Damehipaia Papeng, who went missing in August.
The defendant acknowledged killing Papeng and dumping his body close to the cattle market Mukoi Mihmyntdu, which is a short distance from the Jowai By-Pass. He also revealed to the police the involvement of three other people, including women, in the crime. He may have been involved in the August 16 murder of Fullmoon Kharsahnoh, a different tourist taxi driver, according to police suspicions.
