Abdul Qadir Patel, Pakistan’s federal minister for health, has made an unusual recommendation for Pakistani couples to limit the population. According to the health minister, if couples wish to have additional children, they should move to another nation where Muslims are a minority so that the Muslim population can grow globally. He stated that his government does not seek to reduce the Muslim population, but rather wants Muslims to be better educated and provided with better healthcare facilities.
