Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha Ji gave a Suspension of Business Notice in Rajya Sabha demanding withdrawal of cases registered against MSP, farmers and punishment to the culprits of Lakhimpur Kheri.
Chadha mentioned in the statement, that he gave suspension notice under Rule 267 on the issue. The house of Parliament does “zero hour suspend and other relevant rules relating to question hour”.

On October 3 last year, a convoy of SUVs, including a Thar owned by Ajay Mishra, ran over a group of protesting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri. Four farmers and a journalist were killed and several others were injured. In the violence that followed, two BJP workers and the driver of the Thar vehicle were also killed.
