To his complete amazement, a student at the governmental Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) in the Bihar district of Darbhanga received 151 out of 100 on one of the papers. The BA (Honors) student reported on Sunday that he received the grade in his Political Science paper-4 in the part-2 examination of the university test.
“When I saw the findings, I was genuinely taken aback. Even though it was a provisional mark sheet, the authorities ought to have reviewed it before announcing the outcome, the student claimed.
One student was promoted to the next grade despite receiving a zero on Accounting and Finance paper 4 of his BCom part-2 test. He claimed, “The university acknowledged that it was a typing error and they gave me a new mark sheet.
Both marksheets contained typographical errors, according to the registrar of the university, Mushtaq Ahmed.
“Fresh mark sheets for the two pupils were given when the typos were fixed. Nothing more, just typographical errors,” he claimed.
