Taylor Swift to join ‘All too well’ screening at TIFF
Taylor Swift has joined the list of celebrities attending the Toronto International Film Festival this year (TIFF).
On September 9 at 7 p.m., the former singer-songwriter who is now a writer-director will present All Too Well: The Short Film in a 35mm showing for the first time ever at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.
Swift and TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey will talk about “filmmaking and the visual aspects of her songs” after the film. “We love the intersection of film and other art forms, and Taylor Swift is a brilliant visual thinker, we’re excited to hear Taylor’s version of how absorbing influences from cinema led to her creating ‘All Too Well: The Short Film,” said Bailey.
According to TIFF’s website, “In addition to music, Swift has long been a visual storyteller.”
The festival kicks out on September 8.
