Civilians in Ukraine took to the streets and screamed at the Russian soldiers to leave and return. When the Russian army told them they had to go, the Ukrainians told them they had to leave since it was their land and not the Russians’. Despite the fact that the Russian army opened fire and urged them to leave, the brave souls who were willing to die for their country refused to do so.
Another video shows tens of thousands of Ukrainians thronging the streets of Kiev’s central square, obstructing Russian tanks from entering the city. They were willing to give their lives for their motherland, but not for their motherland.
