Eid is celebrating all over the world from sunset to the dawn where they gathered to worshipped share their faith women children and men wear new clothes, eat good food after fasting for a month-long and hug each other and greet, though it was not the same to every family. After long two years, Eid prayer set back to the mosque. Eid al-Fitr begins Monday after sunset and ends next evening.
Eid al-Fitr is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. The religious holiday is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
In some of the places in India, there would be a curfew till the 3rd of April, such as in Khargone the administration had announced a 24-hour curfew on May 2 and 3 (Monday and Tuesday) and urged the Khargone residents to celebrate the Eid-al-Fitr and Akshaya Tritiya festivals at home. Where in Srinagar, congregational prayers will not be held due to weather as the grounds were soaked in, Eidgah has been broken over the past couple of years for various reasons, like disallowed because of Covid restrictions in 2021; held in 2020, but cancelled in 2019 as the entire Valley was under curfew.
There would be very difficult for people who could not be part of their big peaceful celebration in public where they gathered to greet, hug each other, pray for one another.
